Ruta Janson, Physiotherapist and Clinic Owner

Physiotherapists in orthopaedic private practice are experts at assessing musculo-skeletal dysfunctions and treating with the use of various pain management modalities, manual therapy skills and medical exercises.
Ruta has more than 30 years of clinical experience and many continuing education courses in her repertoire. She is able to draw from her knowledge base to create personalized rehab treatment plans for people of all ages and musculo-skeletal injuries.
Over the past dozen years she has focused on the spine, pelvis and sacro-iliac area, and has incorporated the new pelvic rotator cuff concept into her treatment. She is now launching Osteo-Circuit her osteoporosis exercise program at Bloor Jane as a pilot project. Recently semi-retired, Ruta works here during the spring and summer and works on program development
Graham Flitt, Physiotherapist

Graham Flitt graduated from Bath, England in 1988. He continued his post graduate education in England and in Toronto, Canada. Graham has completed his certification in Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (CAFCI).
Graham has worked towards and passed the (Part A) exam of the CPA Orthopedic division (R)CAMT. He has taken a variety of the manual therapy courses over the years both in Canada and England.
Graham’s last direction of education and treatment philosophy is through the McKenzie Institute. http://www.mckenzieinstitute.ca As a credited MDT therapy he strongly believes in client education and client self directed exercises specific to the individuals needs
Having worked both within downtown Hospitals and private physiotherapy clinics in Toronto, Graham has experience with post surgical orthopedic care and various muscular skeletal conditions in the community.

Michael Barthmann: Osteopathic Manual Pyhsiotherapist
Michael graduated from University of Toronto’s school of Rehabilitation Medicine and has spent his career working in private practice physiotherapy in the Toronto area. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of manual therapy to bear on musculo-skeletal problems. His osteopathic training enables him to assess for soft tissue pathologies and his treatments enable him to improve the body’s biomechanical alignment and function. He has treated headaches, neck pain, and TMJ disorders with cranio-sacral techniques and he treats spinal dysfunctions with myofascial and osteopathic techniques. Michael takes the time to ensure his clients are well informed of the nature of their condition and how they can contribute to further recovery on their own

Khar Monsanto, Registered Physiotherapy Assistant
Khar graduated from Everest College, Toronto in 2007 as a physiotherapy assistant and since then, has been working at Atrium Physiotherapy. She works as a team member in collaboration with staff physiotherapists to implement treatment plans and to supervise the clients in their exercise programs. Khar is a people person, who truly enjoys working with clients of all ages, helping them in their rehab recovery. She explains and answers questions as she applies the various pain reducing modalities. She encourages and motivates clients to gradually improve their mobility and strength to reach optimal pain free function and fitness
Khar desires to improve her skills and is continuing her education in the Occupational Therapy program at Robetec Institute. She is always eager to work with the clients at Atrium Physiotherapy, no matter what programs the physiotherapists have designed.

Sunita Jugdeo, Office Administrator
Sunita graduated from Medix School with a diploma in Medical Office Management. She has demonstrated outstanding knowledge in administration and office management. Sunita can assist you with scheduling appointments, billing, and answer any questions regarding our services.
